MRS Entrepreneurship Challenge

The Materials Research Society is pleased to announce Round 3 of the Entrepreneurship Challenge – a competition designed to help our members develop the entrepreneurial skills that get ideas out of the lab and directly into the marketplace. Through the Entrepreneurship Challenge, scientists and business students form "virtual teams" to develop a 12-minute PowerPoint presentation that will present a startup technology to a panel of venture capitalist judges. The grand prize is $3,000 – and the top three teams will additionally receive meeting registration and travel funding of up to $3,500 each to present their entries at the 2008 MRS Spring Meeting.
